Western Digital provides a pre-paid shipping label once your return request is approved. If you decide to use your own shipping label, we will not issue a credit for costs incurred in shipping a returned item and will not be responsible for items lost in transit or unsigned proof of delivery to our returns processing center. This may also delay your refund.

Refunds are processed once we receive your items, but please allow 7-10 business days for the credit to reflect in your account depending on the financial institution and your original payment method. In most cases, any paid shipping and handling costs will not be refunded. If you successfully cancelled your order but were billed for such order, we initiate your refund immediately. 

In some cases, Western Digital may require proof or need to confirm additional information prior to processing your refund. Western Digital reserves the right to deny return requests (e.g., product exclusions, breach of our Terms of Sale) at its sole discretion.

Shipped items that are either refused by the customer or cannot be delivered by the carrier, will be returned to Western Digital. You will be refunded for the product cost and tax only as we do not refund shipping and handling costs. Please allow 7-10 business days for the credit to be issued.
